In November 2006 Latteria Sociale Moderna won “best cheese in Italy” in the Grolla d’Oro competition, a very prestigious national award.
In 2010 we were again nominated in both the category for cheeses aged less than 30 months, as well as that for cheese aged more than 30 months.
Latteria Sociale Moderna took part in the competition with a 33 month-old cheese, judged as the best in Italy made from unpasteurised milk, the first in its category and the overall winner in the final selection of all the cheeses.

Latteria Sociale Moderna takes seriously the quality and the healthiness of its products. For this reason, from December 2017, it decided to update to the newest certificates regarding the food safety.
Latteria Sociale Moderna has successfully received the BRC (British Retail Consortium) and IFS (International Food Standard) certificates, both specific global standards for the food industry safety.
The purpose of these certificates is to assure the food safety and the quality of the products Latteria Sociale Moderna every day offers to their customers.
